The federal government must run a Native American export and trade promotion program through the Director. It must work with other federal agencies to coordinate programs and services that grow tribal economies and increase demand for Indian goods and services. The program covers six kinds of help, including technical and financial assistance, promotional materials, funding trade missions, marketing, taking part in international trade fairs, and other market-building work. It must also give eligible entities help finding and entering markets, following foreign and U.S. banking and trade rules, and arranging financing. The program must focus on actions that give the biggest economic benefits to Indians and build long-term stable international markets.
