Title 25 › Chapter CHAPTER 45A— - OKLAHOMA INDIAN WELFARE › § 5202
The Secretary may buy restricted Indian land or interests (except oil, gas, or other minerals) that are offered for sale under this chapter or another federal law for Indians or tribes, at a fair appraised price or by matching the top bid at auction. That buying right is waived if the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes gets written notice ten days before sale and the Secretary does not act.
