Defines key words used in the chapter. "Confer" means what section 1660d says. "Databases" covers the National Crime Information Center, the Combined DNA Index System, the Next Generation Identification System, and any other databases used to respond to missing or murdered Indian cases, including the Violent Criminal Apprehension Program and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. "Indian" means a member of an Indian Tribe. "Indian country" means what section 1151 of title 18 defines. "Indian land" means the lands defined in section 4302 of this title. "Indian Tribe" means the same as "Indian tribe" in section 5304 of this title. "Law enforcement agency" includes Tribal, Federal, State, and local law enforcement.
