Divide Michigan into two federal court districts: the Eastern District and the Western District. The Eastern District has two divisions. The Southern Division covers 13 counties and holds court at Ann Arbor, Detroit, Flint, and Port Huron. The Northern Division covers 21 counties and holds court at Bay City. The Western District also has two divisions. Its Southern Division covers 34 counties and holds court at Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Traverse City. Its Northern Division covers 15 counties and holds court at Marquette and Sault Sainte Marie.
