West Virginia is split into two federal judicial districts: the Northern District and the Southern District. The Northern District covers the counties named in the law and holds court in Clarksburg, Elkins, Fairmont, Martinsburg, and Wheeling. The Southern District covers the other named counties and holds court in Beckley, Bluefield, Charleston, Huntington, Lewisburg, and Parkersburg.
