When a civil case in the Court of International Trade will be tried by a jury, the jury must be picked under the rules in this chapter and using the district court’s jury selection plan for the district where the trial happens. If the court holds a jury trial, the district court’s clerk or an authorized deputy will serve as the clerk to select and summon jurors; juror qualifications follow section 1865(b); each party can challenge jurors under section 1870; and jurors are paid under section 1871.
