Sets pay so the Federal Judicial Center Director is paid the same as the Administrative Office Director. The Director’s appointment and pay are not covered by federal competitive-hiring or General Schedule rules. A U.S. judge or justice serving as Director gets no extra pay. The Deputy Director is paid the same as the Administrative Office Deputy.
