If someone, without a good reason, does not give a notice required under this subtitle or its rules, they must pay the corporation up to $100 for every day the notice is not given. The corporation can sue that person in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia or in any federal district where the plan’s assets are located, where the plan is run, or where the person lives or works. Court papers may be served in any district where the person lives, works, or can be found.
