Title 29 › Chapter CHAPTER 27— - WOMEN IN APPRENTICESHIP AND NONTRADITIONAL OCCUPATIONS › § 2503
The Secretary must give grant money to community groups so they can help 50 chosen employers or labor unions improve how they recruit, train, keep, and support women in skilled or nontraditional jobs. Help can include outreach to recruit women, training to prepare them for apprenticeships, ongoing orientation for employers and workers, support groups and networks to keep women on the job, a local computerized referral list of available tradeswomen, acting as a go‑between on gender workplace issues, and exit interviews to see what worked.
