Employers must not stop workers from using their rights under this law, and they cannot fire or punish someone for opposing illegal practices. No one may fire or otherwise punish a person for filing a complaint or starting a case, for giving or planning to give information in an investigation or proceeding, or for testifying or planning to testify.
