Title 29 › Chapter CHAPTER 29— - WORKERS TECHNOLOGY SKILL DEVELOPMENT › § 2705
Requires the Secretary, working with the Secretary of Commerce, to help workers, unions, and employers use new workplace technologies and practices. They must collect and share the best methods for things like labor-management cooperation and worker participation, designing and using advanced workplace practices and work organization, and assessing worker skills and training needs. The materials must include case summaries and analyses, ways to judge current practices, and information on the best training and education resources. The Commerce Secretary must send these materials through a chosen entity to the Regional Centers for the Transfer of Manufacturing Technology, the Manufacturing Outreach Center, other training groups, and directly to others the Labor and Commerce Secretaries decide.
