The Secretary can make deals with other government agencies to avoid wasted money and duplicate work. The Secretary may use another agency’s buildings, services, or employees if that agency agrees. Federal agencies must help the Secretary and, when the law allows, give information and access he asks for. The Attorney General must get any evidence the Secretary finds that could lead to criminal charges.
