§568 Acceptance of donations by Secretary

Summary

The Secretary of Labor may accept money or property for the Department of Labor and use it or get rid of it to support the Department’s official activities. This power covers the fiscal year ending on September 30, 1995, and every fiscal year after that, and applies to any kind of money or property received by gift, will, or other means.

The Secretary of Labor is authorized to accept, in the name of the Department of Labor, and employ or dispose of in furtherance of authorized activities of the Department of Labor, during the fiscal year ending September 30, 1995, and each fiscal year thereafter, any money or property, real, personal, or mixed, tangible or intangible, received by gift, devise, bequest, or otherwise.
