Electors must immediately send, at the same time and by the fastest way available, their certificates of votes along with the attached certificates showing who the electors are. They must send one set to the President of the Senate at the seat of government; two sets to the state's chief election officer (one copy held to be released only on the President of the Senate's order, the other kept for one year as a public record and open to inspection); two sets to the Archivist of the United States (same release and one-year public record rule); and one set to the district judge where the electors met.
