Title 30 › Chapter CHAPTER 29— - OIL AND GAS ROYALTY MANAGEMENT › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER III— - GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 1753
The punishments and powers in this chapter are extra and do not replace those in other laws. They do not reduce the Secretary’s duty to quickly and properly collect royalties from coal, uranium, and other minerals on Federal and Indian lands, and they do not stop the Secretary from making agreements with States or Indian tribes to share royalty management. This chapter does not change the roles or powers of the Department of the Interior’s Inspector General or the U.S. Comptroller General. It also does not affect land or property given to the Tennessee Valley Authority.
