Title 30 › Chapter CHAPTER 3A— - LEASES AND PROSPECTING PERMITS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER I— - GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 193
Require that deposits of coal, phosphate, sodium, potassium, oil, oil shale, and gas on land valuable for those minerals — including coal entries numbered 18 through 49 in Lander, Wyoming — can only be handled in the ways this chapter allows. Two exceptions apply: sections 1716 and 1719 of title 43, and any valid claims that existed on February 25, 1920 and were kept up under the laws they began under; those claims can be finalized under those original laws, including any required discovery.
