Title 30 › Chapter CHAPTER 12A— - ENTRY AND LOCATION ON COAL LANDS ON DISCOVERY OF SOURCE MATERIAL › § 541c
Gives the landowner or the person holding rights to land (including lands given to States) where the United States reserved the coal under sections 81 or 83–85 the sole right to mine, take, and dispose of lignite that contains valuable source material, and the lignite needed to reach it, unless the land is under a coal prospecting permit or lease. They must follow the reporting and payment rules in section 541 and the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 (42 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.), and must file a clear land description in the land office named in section 541.
