§668 Authorization of appropriations

Summary

Allows up to $2,000,000 from the Treasury to be used, and kept available until spent, for carrying out the chapter in the fiscal year that begins July 1, 1960. For each fiscal year after June 30, 1961, whatever money is needed may be provided to carry out the chapter, and those funds also stay available until spent.

Title 30, §668

Mineral Lands and Mining — Source: USLM XML via OLRC

(a)There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to remain available until expended, not to exceed $2,000,000 to be used to carry out the purposes of this chapter for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1960.
(b)There are hereby authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year beginning after June 30, 1961, such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
(c)Sums appropriated to carry out the purposes of this chapter shall remain available until expended.
