The Director must keep and run the United States Government assistance awards information system created from the Federal Program Information Act study, and must update that system every quarter. The Director can give the job to the head of another executive agency. The Director must look over any report that agency head sends about how they will do the work, and may check that the agency’s reporting method is accurate. After each calendar quarter ends, the Director must quickly send the required system data, free of charge, to the Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate and to the Committee on House Oversight of the House of Representatives.
