The Administrator must prepare and publish a catalog of domestic assistance programs each year. The catalog must include all substantive information that, when it is prepared, is in the system under paragraphs (1), (2), (5), (6), and (7) of section 6102(a), and it may include portions or summaries of the material under paragraphs (3) and (4). It must also have information useful to applicants or beneficiaries and a detailed index. When needed, the Administrator must publish supplements and specialized compilations by function. The Administrator may distribute the catalog free to each member of Congress; each department, agency, and instrumentality of the United States Government; each State; each general purpose unit of a local government; each Indian tribe recognized by the United States Government; each depository library of Government publications; and any depository the Administrator designates.
