Says a specific part of the west arm of the South Fork of the South Branch of the Chicago River is not to be treated as navigable water by the United States starting September 1, 1959. The area is the piece set by the City of Chicago ordinance of July 17, 1911, in the southwest quarter of section 32, township 39 north, range 14 east, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. It is the land lying west of a straight line drawn from a point on the south dock line 203.94 feet west (measured along that south dock line) to a point on the north dock line 278 feet west (measured along that north dock line), each west of their intersections with the west dock line described in the same ordinance. Plans for any bulkhead to hold back fill placed in this waterway must be sent to and approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers before the fill is put in.
