Title 33 › Chapter CHAPTER 42— - ESTUARY RESTORATION › § 2907
The Secretary must send Congress a report on the results of work done under this chapter by September 30, 2008, and every two years after that. Before sending the report, the Secretary must consider advice from the Council. The report must cover six things: the number of acres of estuary habitat restored with short descriptions of the projects and partners involved; information from the database set up under section 2906(b) about ongoing monitoring to show short‑ and long‑term goals are being met; an estimate of how well different restoration methods are likely to succeed over time; a review of how the acres, monitoring data, and success estimates have been used to pick and carry out projects; a review of efforts to maintain a proper database of projects; and a review of steps taken to give this information to people who help restore estuary habitat.
