Title 34 › Subtitle Subtitle I— - Comprehensive Acts › Chapter CHAPTER 101— - JUSTICE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XXX— - DRUG COURTS › § 10617
The Attorney General must try to spread grant money fairly across different parts of the country, as much as possible. If a State (not counting Indian tribes) has no grant awards in a year, the Bureau of Justice Assistance must give that State and its eligible local applicants focused help and training. The help should teach them how to apply and strengthen State drug court programs, and it must take into account the special needs of rural States, areas, and communities.
