They may pay to create rules and procedures to stop releasing identifying details, to update databases and alert systems so data isn't shared or leaked, to build one private opt‑out that keeps a victim's info out of many systems, and to support safe uses of technology, stop tech abuses like electronic or GPS stalking, or train law enforcement on high‑tech crimes related to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
