§21741 Training and technical assistance for States

Summary

The Attorney General must work with the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Elder Justice Coordinating Council to create, gather, review, and share materials and to give training and technical help to States and local governments. That help must let them investigate, bring charges, prevent, and lessen physical, sexual, and emotional abuse; stop exploitation like financial abuse and scams; deal with neglect of older people; and assess and treat victims’ physical and emotional trauma.
