Requires the Attorney General, under 28 U.S.C. 534, to add to national crime reports the victim’s age and how the victim was related to the offender for murder, aggravated assault, simple assault, rape, sexual offenses, and crimes against children. Directs the Bureau of Justice Statistics to use the annual National Crime Survey to collect and publish better information on domestic violence in the U.S., especially physical and sexual abuse of children and the elderly. Funding for this work was authorized for fiscal years 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992.
