Summary

If someone gets federal law enforcement help and uses it in ways banned by section 50104 or for any purpose other than what it was given for, they must quickly pay back the Attorney General the worth of that help. The Attorney General can sue in a federal district court to get the money back.

(a)If Federal law enforcement assistance provided under this chapter is used by the recipient of such assistance in violation of section 50104 11 See References in Text note below. of this title or for any purpose other than the purpose for which it is provided, then such recipient shall promptly repay to the Attorney General an amount equal to the value of such assistance.
(b)The Attorney General may bring a civil action in an appropriate United States district court to recover any amount required to be repaid under subsection (a).
