A Member of Congress can present a Federal Law Enforcement Badge to a badge recipient who lives in that Member’s congressional district. If both a Senator and the district’s Representative want to present the badge, they must present it together. If no Member of Congress presents the badge, the Attorney General or someone the Attorney General chooses will present it. The presenting Member’s office can arrange the ceremony. The Federal Board will help with arrangements when asked and will make them when Members do not.
