Summary

The organization's articles of incorporation decide who sits on the board and what the board must do. Those same articles also name the officers and explain how officers are chosen. Rules about who can be a director or officer must not exclude people because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, or national origin.

(a)The board of directors and the responsibilities of the board are as provided in the articles of incorporation.
(b)The officers and the election of officers are as provided in the articles of incorporation.
(c)The requirements for serving as a director or officer may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, or national origin.
