The board of representatives runs the corporation and uses the powers given to it. The board is made up of one representative from every State society and from the territorial society in the District of Columbia, and each board member has one vote. The officers include a president, first and second vice presidents, a secretary and assistant secretary, a treasurer and assistant treasurer, a historian, and any other officers the board names. The board elects these officers at its annual meeting, and each officer serves a 1-year term.
