The corporation can run its own affairs and take the actions it needs to meet its purposes. It can make and change rules and bylaws (including setting up and running local and State citizenship conferences), create or change a corporate seal, and adopt emblems or badges. It can hire officers, managers, employees, and agents, and enter into contracts. The corporation can buy, own, lease, encumber (use as security), and transfer property. It can borrow money, issue debt, and secure loans with its property. It can use funds to give prizes or awards to citizens who help its goals, publish a magazine and other materials that fit its mission, start or defend lawsuits, and do any other actions needed to carry out its purposes.
