The organization must not run a business to make money. It may not create stock or give out profit payments to owners. It cannot give money or help to a political party or someone running for office. Its money and property cannot be used for the personal gain of a director, officer, or member, except when the organization closes and is finally wound up. The group may not lend money to a director, officer, or employee; if directors approve such a loan or officers take part in making it, those people are each and all responsible to repay the loan to the organization until it is paid back.
