The corporation cannot create or give shares of stock, and it cannot declare or pay dividends. It also cannot give money or other help to a political party or to someone running for public office. The corporation’s money or property cannot go to an officer or member while the corporation exists or when it closes, except the council of administration may approve reasonable pay and reimbursements for actual necessary expenses. The corporation may not lend money or make advances to an officer or member. Any council member who votes for such a loan, and any officer who helps make it, are each both individually and together responsible to repay that loan to the corporation until it is fully paid back.
