The corporation may not issue stock, pay dividends, take part in or fund political activity, try to influence laws, or make loans to its directors, officers, or employees. Its income and assets cannot go to benefit any director, officer, or member while the charter granted under this chapter is in effect or on dissolution or final liquidation, except the board of directors may approve payment of an officer’s compensation or reimbursement for actual necessary expenses in amounts approved by the board, and the corporation may not claim that Congress or the U.S. Government approves or authorizes its actions.
