Take in and manage one or more funds and use the money only for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes, either directly or by giving it to other groups that do similar work. Honor people — such as pilots, aviation leaders, engineers, inventors, teachers, scientists, government leaders, and others — who made important contributions to aviation in the United States. Keep their memory alive by building and caring for lasting memorials. Create and run a library and museum to save photos, papers, artifacts, and other records of those people. Work with other aviation groups and do other activities needed to carry out these goals.
