Money is approved to be provided for the President’s Committee on Employment of People With Disabilities for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1997. The President decides how agencies will spend the funds. The money must support National Disability Employment Awareness Month and give the Committee staff and resources to run a program that promotes hiring people with disabilities by building national interest in rehabilitation and employment and getting help from public and private groups.
