The corporation must follow rules: it cannot issue stock or pay dividends, do political activities or try to influence laws, give its income or assets to directors, officers, or members while the charter lasts, make loans to insiders, or claim U.S. Government approval. With board approval, reasonable pay and repaying necessary expenses are allowed.
