Use its income and some of its main funds only for educational, charitable, scientific, or literary purposes. Those purposes include advancing the study of law, supporting high standards for federal judges and lawyers who represent the U.S. government, improving how justice is administered (including better legal work in government), spreading knowledge about the law through a law library, seminars, lectures, research, and publications, and collecting and showing rare law-related books, documents, art, and other historical items. The corporation may also do other actions needed to carry out these goals.
