If you qualify for education benefits under this chapter, you can also get tutorial help the same way eligible veterans do under section 3492. You must meet the same rules that apply to those veterans. Your teacher or instructor must also certify that the tutoring is needed to fix a specific weakness and that the course is required or is a prerequisite for your approved program. Tutoring pay is up to $100 per month for up to 12 months, with a $1,200 total limit. This help is in addition to payments under section 3313 and any other education benefits under this chapter.
