The State approving agency must send a letter to a school when it finds the school met all required rules. The agency also must give an official copy of that letter and any changes to the Secretary. The letter must be sent with a copy of the school’s approved catalog or bulletin. The letter must say the date and when approval starts, the school’s correct name and address, the reason and any conditions for approval (referring to the approved catalog), the names of the approved courses, any enrollment limits or student‑teacher ratios if needed, the agency official’s signature, and any other fair, needed terms.
