Defines who counts as two kinds of veterans. "Disabled veteran" means a veteran rated 30 percent or more for disability, or discharged for a disability that began or got worse while serving. "Veteran of the Vietnam era" means someone who served more than 180 days including any time in the Vietnam era and left not dishonorably, or who left for service‑connected disability when some active duty was in that era.
