Title 38 › Part PART IV— - GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS › Chapter CHAPTER 63— - OUTREACH ACTIVITIES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER I— - OUTREACH SERVICES PROGRAM › § 6306
The Secretary must work with the Secretary of Labor so State employment services match eligible veterans and their dependents with suitable jobs or job training. When possible, State employment staff should be placed at Department facilities to help. The Secretary must also promote job, training, and other opportunities for veterans, especially those with service-connected disabilities, using unemployment data and the goals in chapter 42 of this title. The Secretary can use and refer veterans to federal, state, local, and national agencies or groups, provide office space for their representatives, and run studies with other agencies to find the best program design.
