Title 38 › Part PART V— - BOARDS, ADMINISTRATIONS, AND SERVICES › Chapter CHAPTER 72— - UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR VETERANS CLAIMS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - PROCEDURE › § 7262
The Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims may charge up to $50 to file an appeal. The Court must create rules that let someone ask to skip the fee if paying it would cause them hardship. The Court’s decision on that waiver is final and cannot be reviewed by any other court. The Court can raise the $50 limit later. Any increase may reflect inflation and fees charged by other courts created under Article I of the Constitution.
