The Secretary must put a report about quality-assurance work into the annual report to Congress required by section 529. The report must evaluate how well the Veterans Benefits Administration delivers services, including how many decisions were reviewed, a summary of what was found, how many full‑time equivalent staff do quality work in each unit, proof of meeting the independence and internal-control standards in section 7731(b), and actions taken and their results. It must also report on decision accuracy and trends, plus any other information the Secretary thinks is appropriate.
