Give a written notice at least ninety days before the sale. Mail a description of the property to the owner or, if the owner is dead, to the executor, administrator, or nearest relative listed in Department records. If no one is listed, post the notice where the death happened or the property was found, at the property's location, and on the county probate notice board. The person who posts it must sign a sworn statement saying when and where the notice was posted and attach a copy; that sworn statement is accepted as proof.
