Summary

Defines three terms used in this chapter. "Fund" is the Postal Service Fund set up under section 2003. "Competitive Products Fund" is the Postal Service Competitive Products Fund set up under section 2011. "Obligations" are the Postal Service's debt papers, like notes, bonds, debentures, mortgages, and other proof of debt.

Title 39, §2001

As used in this chapter—
(1)“Fund” means the Postal Service Fund established by section 2003 of this chapter;
(2)The term “Competitive Products Fund” means the Postal Service Competitive Products Fund established by section 2011; and
(3)“obligations”, when referring to debt instruments issued by the Postal Service, means notes, bonds, debentures, mortgages, and any other evidence of indebtedness.
