When the Postal Service asks, the Government Publishing Office must print black-and-white or color pictures of U.S. postage stamps with the descriptive, historical, and stamp-collecting information the Postal Service wants, and sell them through the Superintendent of Documents. The plates or duplicates used to make those prints may not be sold or otherwise disposed of.
