Summary

Certain federal laws allow a government band to play on the U.S. Capitol Grounds if the music won’t interrupt Congress and the Architect of the Capitol approves.

section 5102, 5103, 5104(b)–(f), 5105, 5106, and 5109 of this title and section 9, 9A, 9B, and 9C of the Act of July 31, 1946 (ch. 707, 60 Stat. 719, 720), do not prohibit a band in the service of the Federal Government from giving concerts in the United States Capitol Grounds at times which will not interfere with Congress and as authorized by the Architect of the Capitol.
