§1822 DEFINITIONS.

Summary

Requires the Federal Acquisition Security Council to keep a list in the System for Award Management (SAM) of "covered foreign entities." The list includes entities on the Consolidated Screening List; entities under extrajudicial direction by a foreign government as the Secretary of Homeland Security decides; entities the Secretary of Homeland Security, together with the Attorney General, the Director of National Intelligence, and the Secretary of Defense, finds to be a national security risk; entities based in or controlled by the People’s Republic of China or its Communist Party; and any subsidiaries or affiliates of those entities. The term "covered unmanned aircraft system" means the same as "unmanned aircraft system" in 49 U.S.C. 44801. The words "intelligence" and "intelligence community" use the meanings in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3003).
