Title 41 › Subtitle Subtitle III— - Contract Disputes › Chapter CHAPTER 71— - CONTRACT DISPUTES › § 7108
When the government is ordered to pay a claim under this chapter, it must pay quickly using the steps in section 1304 of title 31. If an agency board gives a money award to a contractor, that award must also be paid quickly the same way. Those payments must be repaid into the fund under section 1304 of title 31 by the agency that used its appropriations, either from available funds or by getting new appropriations. For the Tennessee Valley Authority, judgments and board awards are paid under section 9(b) of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933 (16 U.S.C. 831h(b)).
